About the Event

We're all one banana peel from a disability claim. Unfortunately, most people learn about disability benefit claims after slipping on that banana peel. Join disability lawyer Andrew November to learn the nuts and bolts of a disability claim. In this workshop, Attorney November will help you understand how a claim for Social Security Disability is processed from initial filing and through the appeal process. In addition, this program will cover private disability claims originating from employment. These benefits are traditionally known as Short and Long Term Disability or ERISA disability claims. Unlike Social Security Disability, Short and Long Term Disability claims are often occupation-specific and take a careful eye to understand.  Andrew November's Biography Andrew November is a shareholder with Liner Legal, LLC, where he dedicates his practice to representing individuals with disabilities. He began by representing individuals denied disability benefits by the Social Security Administration and has since represented over 3,500 clients at the initial application stage, before Administrative Law Judges, in the United States District Court and the United States Court of Appeals. In 2014, Mr. November expanded his practice to include Long Term Disability claims (ERISA Disability). Additionally, Mr. November represents Deaf individuals who have been discriminated against and regularly brings lawsuits against people and institutions that deny equal access under the ADA. Mr. November is a Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association member and founded the Social Security Disability Section in 2017. Since 2015, he has served on the Deafness Advocacy Committee for the Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center. Since 2018, he has served on the Disability Rights Bar Association. Mr. November earned his B.S. degree from the University of Cincinnati and his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
